OBJECTIVES
To take action to enhance the cooperation and partnerships with
other countries, particularly with the USA and the countries of the Asia and
the Middle East, which have strategic significance from geographical
perspective, in addition to the cooperation protocols and bilateral agreements
signed with the EU Member Countries;
To promote our university at any platform in order to allow for
a higher number of partnerships and bilateral agreements with better quality;
To support and follow the initiatives taken to ensure that a
higher number of international students and academic staff prefer our
university by increasing the number of courses given in foreign language;
To
increase the number of and develop the language support programmes for the
beneficiaries within the framework of the "Erasmus for Everyone"
programme covering the period 2014-2020;
To draw
a strategic road map for countries where there is less or no mobility and to
explore the possibilities of joint work;
To take
actions towards enhancing the existing cooperation ties with the industry and
to promote the university-industry joint projects through developing innovative
projects;
To take
initiatives to establish joint diploma and joint training programmes with
various countries, particularly those with strategic importance;
To
explore the ways for increasing the possibilities of bilateral protocols and
joint study programmes with the universities having Centres for Excellence, by
virtue of our being a research university;
To accelerate and foster the initiatives taken towards acquiring the ECTS label
