Spain Visa Procedures

The following links are to inform the students who will go to Spain with the Erasmus program. Students must make an appointment with VFS Global Company indicating the cities in which they reside, and in particular duration of their stay in Spain. The reason of indicating city of residence is that the Embassy separates the applications into regions such as Istanbul and Ankara, you can find information about the allocation of cities according to the regions in details in the following links. For short term stays -less than 90 days- the procedures are carried out via agencies and in addition to the visa fee a service fee for the agency and a courier fee upon the request of passport to be sent to the home is charged. However, for stays longer than 90 days visa applicant must go personally to the Spanish Embassy. In addition, when your visa is approved there is no such application as cargo etc. . When your visa is ready an official from visa department may call you to inform you about the date when your visa will be available. You can get your visa and passport between 9:30 to 12:00 pm. on weekdays. In cases of incomplete document submission or losing any documents you will receive a warning email from the embassy or consulate. Missing documents may be completed by e-mail for students coming outside Ankara and Istanbul. It will be for your own benefit to request a confirmation e-mail stating the documents you emailed has been received by calling the embassy or consulate from contact phones. In the meantime, you can ask your questions about the visa process and documents by calling the contact number, but this practice is performed only during the day between 14:00 and 15:00 hours. (links below indicates the required documents for all students who will go for internship and for study)
